I’m so thankful I found Gillian. She was recommended to me by my financial advisor and the recommendation has been solid. Gillian is very responsive and provides detailed, to-the-point advice in normal language I can understand. I'm re-entering the Perth/ AU employment scene after three decades abroad so my needs range from basic (TFN) to complex (international / interstate assets etc). Gillian is a game changer. My partner and I are both sole traders and relatively new to the business world so finding a good Accountant we can work with long term who would take the time to get to know our respective businesses, provide suggestions on how we can improve on our bottom line and help us understand how to get the most out of our tax returns has been really important to us. In our first few years of trading we have been through a few different Accountants as we had not encountered someone that we felt comfortable with, who took the time to get to know us and didn't make us feel like just another number on their books.

To be honest we had pretty much given up hope of finding someone that we were happy with (perhaps our businesses were too small and not important enough) so we were absolutely delighted this year to have found Gillian and her team at Simple Solutions Accounting. After initially reaching out to Gillian she was more than happy to make a time for us to have an initial meeting so we could get to know her as well as to talk about our respective businesses. We didn't feel rushed, she showed a genuine interest to understand how our businesses operate and took the time to answer all of our questions as well as provide advice that we could go home and apply straight away. Needless to say we were really happy with our first impressions.

Those initial impressions were further validated with all of our subsequent communication with Gillian and her team in completing our initial tax return with Simple Solutions Accounting and we honestly could not fault any part of our experience with them. Not only are they quick to respond to all of our communication but they go the extra mile by making sure everything is clear, concise, well explained and also provide additional helpful advice even when it hasn't been requested. Nothing is rushed and you can tell great care is taken in everything that they do.

It is a huge sense of relief to find an Accountant that we can now trust and can work with going forward as our businesses grow and I would just like to say a big thank you to Gillian and the team at Simple Solutions Accounting for making what can be a really confusing and time consuming portion of our business so "Simple".
