Working from home? Here’s what you can claim for tax.

Hopefully you are in a fortunate position and are able to work from home in the current landscape. Don’t forget that you will be able to claim a deduction for expenses that relate to work. These include home office running expenses, telephone and internet expenses.

The ATO has lots of information on this – including a handy download, a home office calculator and a video explainer.

Start keeping all your receipts for the expenses incurred and you can claim them at tax time.
